Absent Mates & The Warriors

Thanks for your email,
It is of great importance that you continue to remind our community of the work that the SAS undertake for the good and safety for democracies like Australia. It is particularly important to remind our communities of those that have been lost in conflicts around the world.
I have always had the utmost respect for the work that your group does around the world in most cases under extremely dangerous conditions, but you do with integrity and stealth for which you are very famous and respected by other military units around the world.
I was a cut lunch boy in the CMF back in the 60s and was attached to RAEME in Brisbane because of my electrical background. We supported the Kangaroo and Nutcracker exercises and fixed everything you blokes broke. That kept me and my unit busy for years and no doubt still does with the Army Reserve.
I am a very proud supporter of the Wandering Warriors, and I help them financially and with various material donations when I can.
They are an amazing group, and I am pleased to be able to assist some retired military get back into civilian life and workplaces.
In Queensland I maintain contact with Quentin Masson, Audie Moldre and a few others when we get together for a few beers on a regular basis. These are great occasions where we get to chat with current military, retired military and others that have been assisted by the Warriors to get jobs in the public and private sectors.
Tomorrow is the most important day on the calendar and our thoughts and prayers will be for the lost, the wounded, their families and current serving men and women. Lest We Forget.
Warmest regards and keep up the great work that you do at NINESIXFOUR.
