Z Special Para Wings Coin

Historical Information:

These "Sydney Harbour Bridge" shaped wings were a Z Special Unit variation of the 1st Australian Parachute Battalion wing locally produced in 1944 and worn during WW2. 

The insignia is referenced as:

•  #27 in the book 'Anzac Elite – The Airborne and Special Forces Insignia of Australia and New Zealand ' and;
• #35 in the book  'Australian Airborne - The History and Insignia of Australian Military Parachuting'
