Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) QLD Challenge Coin

We are very fortunate to have been allocated a small number of ASD Challenge Coins to offer to our collectors.

This challenge coin was commissioned to celebrate ASD’s enduring presence within Brisbane in 2024. The obverse features the Commonwealth Coat of Arms, the same as the ASD challenge coin minted from Canberra Headquarters. The reverse features the ASD motto “Reveal their secrets, protect our own”, with the signature ASD code surrounding Australia, and QLD highlighted in the corporate blue.

ASD - working collectively with other units for the Defence of Australia. providing vital signals intelligence (SIGINT) and comms security that directly supports special operations and CT missions.
