Para Wings COIN (#150 ONLY FIRST RELEASE)

The SASHF are pleased to release the first of the SF Para Wing Series.

All Australian SASR qualified personnel are trained parachutists and the wings denoting this military speciality are those designed by Lieutenant John Steel (Jock) Lews a founding member of the British SAS in World War II.

The design is based on the stylised sacred Ibis wings of the goddess Isis of Egyptian iconography. Now commonly known as ‘Fast Wings’ aligned to being an upside down shape.

A unique challenge coin to sit with any collection.
