These "Sydney Harbour Bridge" shaped wings were a Z Special Unit variation of the 1st Australian Parachute Battalion wing locally produced in 1944 and worn during WW2.

Army Basic Para Wings:
In 1949, Australian Army standardised Skill at Arms badges with the UK.
From 1951 British type parachute wings were awarded to parachute qualified soldiers in Commandos, Royal Australian Regiment, and the SAS Company. These were worn until SASR, Commandos, and 3 RAR adopted their own distinctive parachute wings.
