I vividly remember my first exercise in Darwin1983. My squad and I were passengers on a 707 when we were hijacked. That experience served as a powerful introduction to a situation that inspired me to pursue and excel in what I have done ever since. It was then I first learned the name Chicken Jokers. It’s gratifying to see that their sense of humour remains intact.

Beautiful Glass superb etching, well packed, prompt delivery, fantastic communication. A little bigger than my normal whisky glass. Those SASR boys must work up a good thirst. Now for the Regimental Whisky, we need that back to keep civilians like supporting the SASR History,
Great calendar that draws attention. Could I suggest some words at bottom of each photo that gives a short story. People come into my home and ask what each or some are about: e.g. March: “Battlefield Ashes…it’s necessary to ensure that it is a ball in hand and not a grenade.” June: nothing else need be written. July; how our kit has changed over the decades. August:“did someone mention a barbecue.” November: a poignant pic that deserves description.
i just got home today friday 16/01/2026 i was very surprised with the way it arrived and impressed with the packaging im very happy with the calendar the cost to me was unimportant because it goes to a very worthy cause to keep the history of the sas going for future generations to learn some the history of the adf in some small part five stars with out question will grab another one next year cheers wayne and thank you
