In 2014, the Australian Special Air Service Regiment commissioned a Limited-Edition numbered timepiece to celebrate the 50th Golden Jubilee Anniversary. 1000 watches were created and each was individually numbered on the rear casing.
The 44mm automatic timepiece is water resistant to 300m with 316L stainless steel case and uses a screw down crown and unidirectional rotating bezel. It is powered by a Seiko NH35A automatic mechanical movement with a bi-directional winding rotor, a manual winding feature, sweep second hand, date display, a quick date setting and a beat-rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour. The movement is hacking.
It features a blue bezel and black rubber strap, embossed with the Australian Special Air Service Regiment commemorative case back design. The timepiece is individually numbered and presented in a box carrying the SASR insignia and comes with an official Certificate of Authenticity.
